Military TMS
A neurologically targeted treatment for the lasting impact of military trauma.
Military service members and veterans experience PTSD and depression at significantly higher rates than the civilian population. For many, medication and therapy alone have not provided sufficient relief. TMS represents a fundamentally different approach — targeting the prefrontal circuits that govern mood regulation and threat response, rather than addressing symptoms through systemic chemistry.

FAQ
Does the VA cover TMS for PTSD?
Yes, in most cases. The VA covers TMS through the Community Care Program when the VA facility cannot provide the service in a clinically appropriate timeframe. TMS is covered when MDD is co-diagnosed with PTSD. We manage the complete referral process.
Does TRICARE cover TMS for PTSD?
Yes. TRICARE covers TMS for adult beneficiaries with MDD, including when co-occurring with PTSD. Prior authorization is required — we handle this entirely.
Can I get TMS while still on active duty?
Yes. Active duty service members can receive TMS through TRICARE with a referral from their Primary Care Manager. Sessions are 20–37 minutes with no downtime — compatible with continued duty status in most cases.
I already have a mental health authorization. Does that affect TMS coverage?
If you have an active mental health authorization with another provider, it may need to be modified before we can bill TRICARE for TMS. We coordinate this process with your PCM and TRICARE directly.
