Meet the Clinical Team Behind High Peaks TMS
Every TMS session at High Peaks TMS is overseen by a board-certified psychiatric provider. Our team combines NeuroStar expertise, military cultural competency, and TRICARE navigation experience.
Dr. Caldwell is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with fellowship training in neuropsychiatry and over a decade of experience in treatment-resistant depression. She holds certified NeuroStar physician designation and previously provided psychiatric services at the Colorado Springs VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. A member of the Clinical TMS Society and the American Psychiatric Association, she oversees all treatment protocols and clinical outcomes at High Peaks TMS.
Marcus served eight years as a behavioral health officer in the US Army Reserve before pursuing his PMHNP at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He is NeuroStar-certified and administers the majority of TMS sessions at High Peaks TMS. His military background gives him fluency in TRICARE navigation, military culture, and the clinical presentations common among combat veterans and active-duty personnel.
Jennifer is a registered nurse, certified NeuroStar TMS technician, and United States Air Force veteran with twelve years of mental health nursing experience — including four years at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center at Lackland AFB. She administers daily TMS sessions, monitors patient outcomes using validated scales, and coordinates scheduling around military shift work and non-standard schedules.
David served eight years in the US Army as a combat medic before earning his Master of Social Work from Colorado State University. As a VA-accredited claims agent, he manages the complete TRICARE and VA Community Care referral and prior authorization process for every military patient — from PCM coordination through authorization approval and billing. He handles all appeals when initial authorizations are denied.
Amanda manages all commercial insurance prior authorization submissions, follow-up, and appeals for non-military patients. With eight years of psychiatric billing experience, she has handled TMS authorization across hundreds of cases at BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United, and Medicare. She conducts all initial benefit verification calls and provides every prospective patient with a plain-language explanation of their specific coverage before any treatment is scheduled.
Robert coordinates the full patient journey at High Peaks TMS — from initial consultation through treatment completion. He manages scheduling across all 36 sessions, liaises with referring providers, administers PHQ-9 and GAD-7 outcome measures throughout treatment, and serves as the primary patient contact. He spent three years with veteran-serving nonprofits in Colorado Springs before joining the clinical team.
